If you didn't get to see the It's Getting Serious live stream in July (or if you LOVED it and want an encore!), now's your chance to play back the soundtrack!
While you won't get the full effect of the entire live stream experience (we have lots of fun in the chat, I tell stories, read scripture, discuss hot topics, and perform theatrical bits), here's how the music looks and sounds.
I was asked to participate in an online concert fundraiser by one of our Misfit Church members, Regina (thanks so much, sister!) who organizes a benefit concert in Nashville each year through Jesus Provisions Ministry. While I'd prefer to be singing in Nashville rather than streaming to it, travel - and even live performance - is prohibitive right now, so I'll take this opportunity to still "be on stage" in Nashville.
The music for this gig had to be pre-recorded, and I figured it was a great opportunity to string all the songs from the live stream together; now It's Getting Serious can be listened to as if it were an album, with no breaks in between.
Definitely tune in live next time to catch all the juicy bits between the songs, and add your unique beloved spirit into the Misfit mix. We look forward to being blessed by your presence; until then, enjoy these tunes!
